Where ART Thou? in North Vancouver
In today’s episode of ‘Glo Says Let's Talk Local’ podcast - Season 5 - What ART thou? Where ART thou? (A weekly Business, Entrepreneur and Arts Podcast) host Gloria Chong and her co- host Kristin Lim, discuss about public art installations curated in Greater Vancouver. Kristin highlights what they are meant for and also talk about some of them. They encourage others to check them out too.

- 03:10 – Kristin and Gloria say there is so much to do in North Vancouver including there are so many new sorts of restaurants & coffee shops....little nice Shipyard area at Lower Lonsdale, there's some fantastic breweries if you like beer and there’s Polygon Art Gallery.
- 05:00: - Gloria reveals that she and Kristin met at the Polygon Gallery once and it’s a lovely space. There was a great gift shop at the bottom featuring lots of local artisans and crafters.
- 07:10: Kristin gives details about a dentist’s named Trylowsky and his art collection by prominent Canadian artists at the Griffen Art Projects
- 10:00 – She reveals that at the ‘Polygon Art Gallery’ they show lots of fantastic exhibitions and recently featuring Jenna Claxton, and many others
- 12:10 – Gloria enquires, “Is there an official Museum in North Vancouver too like the ‘Vancouver Art Gallery’ do all the cities have these?”
- 14:10 – Kristin gives information about an installation by a Canadian Chinese Artist KEN LUM at the ‘Maple Wood Flats’, a conservation area, called ‘From Shangri-La-to-Shangri-La’ in 2010, and it was gifted to the city of North Vancouver in 2012.
- 16:16 – They both talk about ‘House of Funk’, a brewing company which specializes in coffee and beer. They do several breweries including using lots of fruits.
